Scientific name: acromitus maculosus

Class: Scyphozoa

Description: The Panther jellyfish has a dome shaped bell that has panther like spots, hence the nickname. The color of the jelly itself is slightly transparent and tinted a pale blue. Their tentacles are max 3 cm (1 in) long.

Habitat: Western central Pacific, mainly in TayTay bay

Threat: Not dangerous to humans
